The forth to the sixth floor of the building includes private rooms, offices, which are relatively small and more and require to adjust the temperature and air volume solely, more flexible used, so fan coil unit and the independent fresh air system of semi-central system is used.  Fresh air is send into the interior directly after dealt by the fresh air handing units, and return air will be mixed with fresh air after dealt by fan coil units in the indoor space as to achieve the ventilation state point and indoor state point. After figuring up the air volume and the cooling capacity needed by fan coil units dealing air according to the psychrometric and the load calculation, corresponding fan coils can be selected. In the same way, after figuring up the fresh air volume and the cooling capacity needed by fresh air handing units dealing fresh air, corresponding fresh air handing units can be selected. Finally, the WG-FK-FS is used to provide air outlet, and air grilles and air ducts are laid out according to the wind speed and air volume requirements of each room. Considering the various factors, the water system adopts the dual control system, and the riser adopts the different program, which can meet the demand of the building and reduce the investment.

After comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various types of chillers, this design adopts water-cooled screw chiller, which is selected as LSLG-110WS unit according to the total cooling load of the building. Then, through the technical parameters of the chiller, the water flow rate of the cooling tower can be obtained and the cooling tower of TYN-100 can be selected finally. The cooling water pump is selected as ISG125-250A and the freezing water pump is selected as ISG125-315B, determined by calculating pump flow and head. Finally, the specification parameters of expansion tank and water distributor should be determined.

In addition, in order to avoid casualties caused by a lot of smoke in the case of fire, the building is also designed with a smoke control system. Pressure smoke exhaust measures are taken in the stairway and elevator lobby of each floor and one smoke exhaust fan is installed in the machine room; as mechanical smoke exhaust is adopted in the underground garage, and a smoke exhaust fan is installed on each floor. Suitable exhaust fan can be selected through the exhaust air volume of each area.

When the air-conditioning system control the indoor environment and air quality, it will also produce noise inevitably. After the noise reached a certain value, the use function of some special room, the indoor working environment and even people’s health will be effected. In order to prevent the occurrence of this kind of situation, the sound attenuation design is adopted on the component such as system equipment, air grille, pipeline, etc. The air-conditioning system as the main sources of noise must be on the strict control, such as using vibration isolation materials or accessories to prevent big vibration happening from the equipment movement spreading to the other rooms, at the same time it can also prevent the effects from the vibration of pipeline, floor, etc. caused by vibration.
