General description of the design: This project is located in Shanghai and is a student activity center. The project is three floors above the ground, with a total construction area of 6,242m2 and a building height of 15.55m. The design scope is the design of the air conditioning system for this project. This project uses a central air-conditioning system, the calculated cooling load is 1036kw, the air-conditioning heat load is 650 kw, and the air-conditioning cooling and heating source uses 2 sets of 520kw screw-type air source heat pump units, heating capacity is 582kw, and the corresponding pumps are configured. The heat pump unit is arranged on the roof.

Air conditioning water system: closed loop system. In summer, the temperature of air conditioning cold water is 7 °C,and the supply water is 12°C, in winter ,the temperature of air conditioning hot water supply is 45~40°C, the air-conditioning pump is a fixed-flow pump, and the air-conditioning pump is dual-purpose and ready-to-use. The air-conditioning terminal equipment is based on the air-conditioning load. Change, through the role of the valve, adjust the air-conditioning water flow. The air-conditioning pump balances the flow through the pressure difference, and finally makes energy adjustment or number control of the chiller and the air-conditioning pump.

Air-conditioning air system: In the design scope, the fan coil and the fresh air system are adopted. The fan coil is installed with a horizontal ceiling. The treated fresh air is directly sent into the room through the air duct. The airflow organization adopts top delivery and top return methods according to the renovation plan. The function room is not suitable for the fan coil plus fresh air system due to the large room area and the special features of the room, so it is not within the design scope.

The mechanical ventilation area is mainly public toilets. The natural ventilation and mechanical ventilation are the ventilation methods. The air volume is 10 times per hour. Therefore, the ventilation fans are added to the public bathrooms to ensure smooth indoor air circulation and good air quality.

Environmental protection: All HVAC machinery products use high-efficiency and low-noise type, and adopt shock absorption and noise prevention measures. Air-conditioning room wall and top surface to do sound-absorbing treatment. The chiller uses environmentally friendly refrigerant R134a.

Energy-saving: All HVAC equipment adopts high-efficiency, energy-saving products. The heat pump unit, its coefficient of performance, and pump efficiency should be better than the allowable value of energy-saving design standards. The total efficiency of the selected common wind turbine is greater than 52%, and the unit air consumption power is less than 0.32. The transportation energy efficiency ratio (ER) of the air conditioning cold water system is 0.0234, which is lower than the energy conservation standard (0.0241). The thermal resistance of the air-conditioning duct insulation layer is greater than 0.74 (m2K/W). In addition, the air-conditioning adopts an automatic control system, which saves electricity and saves energy while facilitating management.

Self-control: chillers: The unit's own safety protection and energy regulation are supported by the gensets; the gensets and pumps are interlocked to start and stop control, and the system's cooling and heating loads control the number of units and auxiliary auxiliaries. Water pump: the pump interlocks in the system and delays the interlock; the pump operation status display, control and fault alarm; the water pump balances the flow and finally makes energy adjustment or number control of the equipment. Fan coil: proportional and integral control of the indoor temperature to the water; three-speed switch control.
