In this article, the differences of the interpersonal relationships between China and the West are mainly analyzed. The relationships refer to mutual relationships between people, which are formed through the mutual cognitions, communication behaviors and emotion interactions. The method of forming an interpersonal relationship is analysis and contrast. The distance of psychological relationship among people is the essence of forming an interpersonal relationship. People have been compared as social animals and every inpidual has his or her special thought, background, value, attitude, interpersonal relationships and behavior model. Interpersonal relationships have a large influence on interpersonal emotion, work, life; even have great impact on organizational climate, organizational operational, organizational communication and relationships between inpidual and organization(Li, Lin 31).

To conclude, harmonious interpersonal relationships among people are the valuable wealth. Everyone can obtain the benefits from each other. They can bring successful changes and happiness to the inpidual and give the energy and immeasurable benefits to organizations, society and countries.

2.1 Types of Interpersonal Relationships

According to different standards, interpersonal relationships can mainly pided into four types: blood relationships, occupational relationships, interest relationships and geographical relationships.

Blood relationships mean the relationships among people relying on blood ties. So it is common to know that blood relationships are produced by marriage or family. It includes the relationships of marriages, parents and children, brothers and sisters, and so on. Blood relationship and common traditional blood relationship culture are transmitted from one generation to another. So blood relationship plays a crucial part in the development of family’s history.

Occupational relationships refer to the relationships among people formed by occupational ties, which include colleague relationship, relationship between teachers and students, relationships between superiors and subordinates and so on.

Interest relationships refer to the relationship between people counting on hobbies and interests. The relationship among friends is a example.

Geographical relationships refer to the relationships among people depending on the geographic network and manageable geographic areas. For example, the neighborhood relationship is the typical geographical relationship.

The types based on the psychological disposition can be pided into master-slave type, cooperating type and competitive type. Types based on the psychological purpose can be pided into implement relationship, emotional relationship and mixture relationship.
