On the Application of Reading Strategies in English Teaching in Middle School
摘 要:在当今中学英语教学过程中,阅读毫无疑问是重要的一部分,阅读策略的培养也是英语教学的重中之重。但是,现在很多老师都把教学重点放在单词和语法的掌握上,忽视了阅读策略在英语教学中所起到的重要作用。为了解决这一问题,本研究采用文献分析法,首先介绍了阅读策略在中学英语教学中的意义和背景,然后讨论了阅读策略的定义和分类,并对阅读策略和中学英语教学的关系做出了详细阐述,最后提出了相对应的解决措施。本文旨在改善中学英语教学现状和阅读策略在中学英语教学中的应用效果,从而提高英语教学质量。

Abstract:Reading is no doubt an important part in the process of English teaching in middle schools, especially the cultivation of reading strategies. However, plenty of teachers pay more attention to the vocabulary and grammar, and ignore the effects of the reading strategies in English reading teaching in middle schools. In order to solve this problem efficiently, this study adopts literature analysis to analyze it. Chapter one introduces the background and significance of the paper in the first place. And then the definition and the classification of the reading strategies are presented. Thirdly, the relationship between reading strategies and English teaching in middle schools are described in detail. Meanwhile, the corresponding measures of the reading strategies are proposed. This research is helpful for improving the current situation of English teaching in middle schools. It also contributes to the application effects of reading strategies and the quality of English teaching.

Strategies in English Teaching in Middle School
I. Introduction
In today’s society, English plays an important role in English teaching in middle schools, especially in English reading comprehension in China. However, some students are worried about English reading in China; the students try their best to study English. Some people are middle school students. The English reading comprehension is the most significant part not only for the students, but also in every aspect of China’s promotion to higher office, work, activities, and particularly in Chinese education. If a student wants to be better, he or she has to study it carefully. The best way is to learn and apply the reading strategies. The reason is that the reading strategy is the basis of English reading. The students are the same. English strategies are the key for middle school students. The most important point is developing their interest and hobbies. In general, Chinese students begin to study English from primary school. They cannot learn English well when they learn English in middle school. The teachers only pay att ention to the words and grammar. With this teaching model, Chinese students lose many opportunities to expand their own English knowledge, such as listening, speaking and tests. But on the other hand, they are lucky, and have an opportunity to learn English in classes. So reading has becoming the most worrying problem, and the majority of them live and work in an environment where people talk about in Chinese. Students need some useful books, reading material and reading strategies.
