摘 要:丰富的网络英语资源为高中英语阅读教学提供了最广泛的学习资源、方便的学习工具和灵活的学习策略。英语阅读能力是发展其它语言技能的基础和前提,英语阅读不仅能培养学生的英语意识,也能促进词汇的积累。新的英语课程标准显示,阅读各种文体,例如英语诗歌、报刊杂志、原版手册以及各种商品或非专业技术资料,寻找出中心意义、相关信息的观点和态度是非常重要的。因此,如何有效地寻找教学与研究相关的信息成为了一个值得关注的问题。本文就如何在高中英语阅读教学中更高效地利用网络资源,寻找新的网络教学模式,扩大学生阅读范围,提高学生英语阅读能力作出了简要分析。

Abstract:Rich network English resources provide the senior high school English reading teaching with the most extensive learning resources, convenient learning tools and flexible learning strategies. English reading ability is the basis and prerequisite for the development of other language skills. English reading can not only cultivate students’ sense of English, but also promote the accumulation of vocabulary. New English Curriculum Standards shows that it is very important to read various kinds of literature styles, such as English poetries, newspapers, magazines, original manuals and a variety of commodities or non-professional technical documents and find out the central meaning, relevant information of views and attitudes and the intention of the author. Therefore, how to effectively search for the teaching and research related information has become a concern. This paper makes a brief analysis on how to use the network resources more efficiently in the teaching of English reading in senior high school and try to find new network teaching mode in order to improve students’ reading ability and expand students’ reading range.

I. Introduction
Compared to reading articles on the textbook, senior high school students prefer reading articles on the Internet and English reading platforms, which is recommended by their English teachers after class, and there is no doubt that this situation can effectively improve students’ English reading levels as it is easier for students to find the reading resources when they use the Internet and they are more willing to read to increase some extent of reading quantity(张曦元,18). However, as to the daily teaching activities, network resources are only to be used as a tool to search information that is beneficial to the teaching, and some search engines such as Baidu and Google are very popular when there are some questions to be solved. Meanwhile, it should be noticed that the capability of teachers may limit the chances of students to experience the use of network resources to read and study, and most students can only use the information and documents that are downloaded from the Internet by teachers, and this kind of reading teaching method is called ‘network reading teaching’. However, this teaching method can hardly be beneficial to students’ autonomous reading ability and cooperative reading ability, and those abilities cannot be improved as well, because it is not an interactive teaching and learning method.
