浅谈任务型教学在高中英语教学中的运用

A Brief Analysis of the Application about Task-Based Language Teaching in English Teaching in Senior High School.


摘 要:任务型语言教学强调在做中学,同时,也强调任务型语言教学应以学生为中心。任务型语言教学是交际语言教学的进一步发展。任务可以由一人完成但更多的时候是由小组合作完成的。学习者通过交际和意义协商,不仅可以在做中学习语言而且也能提高学习者的做事和解决问题的能力。因此,在高中实施任务型教学是有必要的。本文旨在通过对任务型教学特点和原则进行分析,更深一步探讨任务型教学,使教师能够更好的运用任务型教学激发学生学习英语的兴趣,从而提高学生学习英语的兴趣和培养学生的合作能力和精神;提高学生综合运用语言的能力;使得它适应时代发展的需要和我国基础教育改革的需要。同时我提出了一些可行性建议和应注意的问题。

Abstract:The task-based language teaching emphasizes learning by doing. It also emphasizes student-center. Task-Based Language Teaching can be regarded as the next development of the communicative language teaching. Task can be finished by one, but more often it can be done by the team. Learners can develop the abilities of doing things and solving problems. Meanwhile, learners can grasp the target language through learning by doing. So the implement of task-based language teaching in senior high schools is necessary. This paper mainly analyzes the features and principles of task -based teaching to explore how to use it to motivate students interest of learning English and how to promote students’ comprehensive language application ability in senior high school. Only by this way, it can adopt the need of basic educational curriculum reform in our country and the development of the times. Next, i will give some advice in the last part.

A Brief Analysis of the Application of Task-Based language Teaching in Senior English Teaching School

I. Introduction

  With the development of society, science and technology, and the rapid development of economy, it makes the reform of English education become more urgent than before and it should adopt to the development of society.Twenty-first century is the era of information technology and English has become a very important communication tool, while English learning is becoming more and more important. In recent years, the Chinese government pay great attention to the reform about English education, which has further contribute to the deep research, deep education reform, and it will arouses more researchers begin to pay more attention to it.

   I still remember the period when the instructor and our student were exchanging their opinions, referred to a thought-provoking story. She went to a city to participate in the public class, observing the teacher's teaching level, teaching ability, and she finds that the comprehensive ability of teachers are excellent. The whole lesson is relaxing and smooth, freely flowing style of writing. But unexpectedly, in the end, the teacher asks the students to play some roles in an interview, the students came to the stage and they do not know what to say. The student is still confused. Originally they wanted to use the task activities to improve the classroom atmosphere, but” many flowers do not open” , because of a flaw in this lesson. This phenomenon is thought-provoking, the use of task-based language teaching seems to have deviated from the pioneers’ original intention. According to the phenomenon, they start to study the problems about the application of task-based teaching in high school English teaching, and summarize the results from the survey. Finally,any of the teaching methods can not be blindly applied, and we should take the suited road, combining the teaching method with the concrete students characteristics. Only by this way can we improve teachers’ English teaching quality in China and students’ comprehensive language learning ability.In order to promote the English curriculum reform in the basic education phase, the Ministry of education publish English class standard experiment draft in Pu Tong senior middle school and it encourages teachers to apply the approach of task-based language teaching to the teaching process. If the task-based teaching was used the small or medium-sized school classroom, there will have lots of effects on it. For any kind of teaching methods advocated above, including the task-based teaching, we should have a dialectical attitude and the true understanding so that it can service the language teaching.
