摘 要:英语作为当今国际交流的重要工具,受社会的重视程度越来越高。英语教学中,越来越多的教师认识到学生语言能力的高低在很大程度上取决于英语学习兴趣的程度。本文采用了文献法,观察法,和个案法从学生自身、学科和教师这几方面分析了影响初中生英语学习兴趣的因素,并提出了一些有效提高初中生英语学习兴趣的对策。本文试图帮助中学生提高英语学习兴趣,为英语教学工作者提供一些可行的建议和方法,以提高英语教学效率。

Abstract:As an important tool of international communication, English has got more and more attention of the society. In English teaching, more and more teachers find out that students’ language ability depends largely on the degree of their interest in English learning. By using the method of literature, observation and case analysis, this paper analyses the influential factors of middle school students’ English study interest from the aspects of students, subject and teacher, and introduces some effective teaching measures to improve middle school students’ English learning interest. The paper aims to improve middle school students’ interest in English learning and provides some practical measures for English teachers, so as to improve the teaching effectiveness of English learning and teaching.

I. Introduction
With the development of the society, English is becoming more and more important for people around the world. On the one hand, English is a tool of communication; on the other hand, it will help people know the world better and enrich your life. Interest is usually the best teacher. Furthermore, it is also widely acknowledged by people that interest is the driving force for students to explore knowledge and the source of invention and innovation spirit. In the process of trying to develop students’ English learning interest, the students will know how to overcome difficulties they are facing and how to achieve their goals through their own efforts. In addition, quality education calls for reforming the classroom teaching, improving teaching efficiency and reducing the heavy academic burden on students. Stimulating students’ interest in learning is an effective way to improve the efficiency of English class. When students have a strong interest in their English learning, they will not regard study as a heavy burden. Instead, they may study happily and actively, and finally get a good learning effect. Krapp said, “If somebody is interested in an activity, that person will feel pleasant about it, tend to participate in that activity, and stay fully attentive when engaging in that activity” (228). So it is necessary and important for students and schools to cultivate students’ interest so as to ask the students to enjoy learning and facilitate their English learning. And it is also very important for teachers to take advantage of all different kinds of teaching methods to stimulate students’ learning interest to improve their learning efficiency.
