On the Cultivation of the Middle School students’ English Listening and Speaking Ability Under the Network Environment英语论文网络环境下中学生英语听说能力的培养
摘 要:随着社会的迅速发展,英语变得越来越重要。英语的听说能力体现英语学习者综合运用语言的能力,然而传统教学模式和教学理念只重视语法的学习却忽视了英语听说能力的培养,中学生在英语听说方面不能满足现代社会的需求。本文拟首先分析中学生英语听说能力的现状和影响中学生听说能力发展的因素,探讨网络教育的优点;然后指出如何利用网络环境的优越性能促进英语教学效果,提高中学生的听说能力;最后提出一些建议,教师要转变教学理念,变成课堂的辅助者和组织者,并让学生认识到他们是学习的主体,从而提高英语听说能力。

Abstract:With the rapid development of society, English has become more and more important. English listening and speaking skills reflect the English learners’ comprehensive ability of using language. However, the traditional teaching mode and teaching concept only pay attention to grammar learning but ignore the cultivation of English listening and speaking ability. Therefore, the middle school students’ English listening and speaking skills can not meet the needs of modern society. This paper will firstly analyze the current situation of middle school students’ English listening and speaking ability and the factors which influence the development of middle school students’ listening and speaking skills, discuss the advantages of the network education,and then point out how to promote English teaching effect and improve the middle school students’ English listening and speaking ability by using the advantages of the network environment. This paper will lastly give some suggestions that the teacher should change teaching concept, become a helper and organizer in class, and make the students realize that they themselves are the active learners so that they can make full use of the internet to improve their own English listening and speaking ability.

I. Introduction
In today’s world, with the rapid development of information technology and economic globalization, the function of language becomes particularly important, especially the English language. As a tool of communication, English becomes more and more important for our country when our country exchange with other countries. English listening and speaking skills are two important parts in English communication. Listening, as a basic form of English, mainly refers to the language input. Now people have paid much attention to listening, but they do not realize the importance of speaking. Actually, speaking is the ultimate realization of English communication. But for a quite long time, most of the students just want to improve their grades in English exams, they fail on the cultivation of English listening and speaking ability. In order to cope with all kinds of English written tests, teachers teach the students lots of new words, expressions and grammars in the process of many years of learning, but most of the students can not communicate with others fluently in English. To improve the students’ listening and speaking skill has become the main task of middle school English learning and teaching.
