摘 要:随着全球化的发展,国与国之间贸易往来日趋频繁,跨文化交际的活动也日益增多。然而,由于彼此之间文化差异的存在,跨文化交际障碍日益突显,严重影响了交际的顺利进行。因此,本文主要采用文献分析法,概述了跨文化交际障碍的内涵及其体现形式,分析了其产生的原因,并据此提出了相关对策。其旨在为跨文化交际活动提供某些有益启示,进而提高人们跨文化交际的能力。

Abstract:With the development of globalization, the trade between countries is becoming more and more frequent, cross-cultural communication activities are also increasing. However, due to the existence of cultural differences between each other, cross-cultural obstacles to communication has become increasingly prominent, which has affected the progress of the smooth communication seriously. Therefore, by adopting documentary analysis, this paper mainly summarizes the connotation and main manifestation of cross-cultural communication obstacles, analyzes their main reasons, and then puts   forward some effective countermeasures.The study aims at providing some useful inspiration for cross-cultural activities and then enhancing people’s ability of cross-cultural communication.

I. Introduction

Cross-cultural communication refers to the communication between people of different cultural backgrounds. From the psychological point of view, the cross-cultural communication is the communication in which information editing and translation are carried out by people from different cultural backgrounds. By theoretical analysis, the cultural and social backgrounds of different people have differences in some senses such as lifestyle, education, religions, gender, ages, political stand, economy, hobbies, personality and so on, which has promoted the emergence of the cross-cultural communication. The cross-cultural communication originated in the United States in the sixties of the twentieth century is a new interdisciplinary, it focuses on the study of communication. It aims to study the relationship between language and culture in order to improve the quality of language teaching and effective cross-cultural communication. The rise and development of this discipline has a direct connection with language teaching and increasingly frequent cross-cultural communication. There are a variety of cultures in the world, with the changes of the environment, the development of science and technology, our lives are in change all the time. And this change is beyond the boundaries of the state and the nation. So that people of different nationalities and countries have a variety of links. Therefore, it provides many opportunities for cross-cultural communication. Communication does not always mean friendship, it is also accompanied by cultural conflict, and even force conflict. In order to create a common great future of human, we must deepen the understanding between each other constantly. And the theoretical research of how to communicate with each other is the purpose of cross-cultural communication research.
