摘 要:英语课堂游戏是指教师在课堂上针对教学目标,结合教学内容,创设有趣的教学情境来吸引学生兴趣的一种教学方法。课堂游戏是一种符合儿童身心发展的特点的有效方法,不仅能培养他们的学习兴趣,还能够提升他们的口语交际能力以及加深对学习内容的记忆。本文通过运用材料分析法和比较法论述了课堂游戏在小学英语教学中的作用。在课堂游戏的实施过程中要注重游戏策略,要紧扣小学生好动、好胜的心理特点,充分调动他们的非智力因素,使得他们能通过课堂游戏在愉快的情感中学习。

Abstract:English classroom game is a kind of teaching method, which aims at teaching objectives and teaching content to create interesting teaching situations to attract students’ interest. It is an effective way to meet the characteristics of children’ physical and mental development, which not only can enhance their interest but also can improve students’ oral communication ability and deepen students’ memory of learning content. This paper discusses the role of classroom game in English teaching of primary school by using material analysis and comparative method. In the process of the implementation of classroom game, we should keep closely to the psychological characteristics of active and aggressive in primary school students and take advantage of their non-intelligence factors in primary English class. In addition, we also should pay attention to the game strategy to enable them to learn English through classroom game in a kind of pleasant emotion.

I. Introduction
With the spread and development of English around China, English plays a more and more important role in life. English classroom game is a kind of teaching method, which aims at teaching objectives and teaching content to create interesting teaching situations to attract students’ interest. In China, English education has been enlarging and developing, so scientific teaching method has become more and more significant. In order to reduce the difficulty of learning English words and phrases, we can use classroom game to integrate complex and difficult English words and phrases into the study of students. Classroom game can improve the enthusiasm of students for learning English and make students regard English as their own lovely partner, not a soulless subject. It also enables students to learn English in a variety of ways and can help students overcome shy psychological barrier. The use of classroom game in English teaching is in line with the requirements of the physical and mental development of modern primary school students, not only can make the class atmosphere to be active but also can absorb the primary school students’ attention.
Classroom game not only can inspire primary school students’ learning enthusiasm but also can develop cooperation consciousness. In the aspect of English classroom teaching, the research of classroom game began in 1990s. 1999-2004 is the stage of gradual development. 2005-2009 is the prosperity development stage. The research features of this period are: the expansion of the object of study, research methods, the content of the research is widened. This time, there are more and more research method and content, including classroom game pattern, principle and so on. From 2010 to the present is the stage of all-round development. The research of classroom game is no longer limited to the use of teaching game types, but more attention to whether the actual requirements for primary school students. At present, the classroom game is people-oriented in order to promote the development of pupils’ personality for the purpose.
