The Factors and Strategies of Junior Middle School Students’ Weariness of English Learning
摘 要:由于种种原因,不少初中生的英语厌学情绪非常明显,解决初中生英语厌学问题,对改善英语学习具有重大意义。然而出现厌学的原因是多方面的,本文主要从自身,家庭,学校,社会四个方面来分析造成初中生英语厌学的一些原因,同时也给出了相应的措施和对策。我们要解决初中生英语厌学问题,必须从这些方面入手,努力找到适当的对策,目的在于让学生把学习英语当作一种乐趣,不是负担,而是让他们自觉有效地去学习英语。

Abstract:Owing to all kinds of reasons, lots of the junior middle school students have the weariness of learning English. Solving the problems of the student’s English learning weariness plays an important role in improving the student’s English learning achievement. This paper contributes to the formation in terms of society, family, school and students. Meanwhile it gives proper countermeasures from four aspects. Accordingly, we need to analyze the problems of students’ English learning weariness starting from these areas and spare no pains to find appropriate ways. The purpose is that it can enable students to learn English as a pleasure rather than a burden and enable them to study English actively.

The Factors and Strategies of Junior Middle School Students’ Weariness of English Learning
I. Introduction
With the development of economic globalization, cooperation and exchanges between countries are becoming more frequent. Learning English not only can promote exchanges between countries, but also broaden our view and understood the traditional knowledge of Western culture. And mastering English is very important to inpiduals in any occasions, for example, in the workplace, social place and communication with others. Therefore, many countries have set up with relevant training courses in English and China government put English education in a very important position. China has set up English course from the third grade in the primary school. Junior school and high school has regarded English course as a compulsory course. And English test is one of the entrance examination and it’s also important in college. Learning English is so important, but students still have the weariness of English learning.
This phenomenon has affected the development of basic education in China. This study finds that English weariness is a long accumulated time. English weariness can bring the adversely affect to long-term development of students and affect the quality of school education. The study mainly pides into three parts. The first part puts forward the external factors of students’ English learning weariness. It analyzes the factors from the family, school and social aspect. As for society, social environment and many entertainment places are bad for students. What’s more, English has been widely acknowledged by evaluation of examination rather than application in modern Chinese society. School puts much pressure and homework on them. In attention to, the teacher’s teaching method can’t apply to students. Little by little, students cause the weariness of English. It aims to improper parental education on family. The second part analyzes the students’ factors including learning ability, learning behavior and interest in English. The third part puts forward corresponding strategies from four aspects. As for society, it should build a harmonious social environment for students. Next it gives advice on teachers and school itself. Family aspect, it mostly attaches to parents’ behavior. The most important aspect is students’ aspect. The study gives some advice on students. It includes the change of minds, the exercise of willpower, self-confidence, interest and learning habit. Solving the problems of the students in English is not a short duration of time that need the family, school, society and students interact with joint efforts.
