导入法在小学英语课堂中的有效性

摘 要:导入是指课堂教学开始的三到五分钟内教师和学生所有教学活动的总称。英语课堂的导入对吸引学生的注意力,调动学生的积极性,激发学生的求知欲和营造良好的课堂氛围有着极其重要的作用。本文通过分析导入法在教学中应遵循的原则,小学生和小学英语教材的特点,总结出几种适合小学英语课堂的导入方法。在小学英语课堂中,教师要结合各种实际情况选择合适的导入。希望本文对改善小学英语教学方法和提高学生学习积极性有所帮助。

Abstract: Lead-in refers to the generic terms of all teaching activities during three to five minutes at the beginning of a classroom between teachers and students. The lead-in of English class is of great importance to attract students’ attention, which can arouse the enthusiasm of students, stimulate students’ curiosity and create a good classroom atmosphere. Through analyzing the principles of lead-in, the features of primary students and features of teaching materials, this paper concludes several methods which are suitable for English class in primary school. In the English class of primary school, teachers should consider the actual situation when choosing methods. Through discussion, this paper may help to improve the teaching method and stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm.

The Effectiveness of Lead-in in English Class of Primary School

I. Introduction

   The new curriculum standard points out that English learning should pay attention to the experience of learning process and emphasize the interaction between teachers and students. New curriculum aims at pursuing the harmonization of knowledge and skill, process and method, emotion, attitude and value. This requires that teachers should adopt different teaching methods according to the teaching content and create a teaching environment which can guide students to participate actively and stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm and meet the perse learning needs of students. Throughout China’s education reform in recent decades, it is not difficult to find that English teaching has experienced a process of sublimation. However, there are still some problems in English teaching and learning. Many teachers still use the old way of teaching and ignore the important part of lead-in. Lead-in is that the teacher guides students to enter the learning state in the beginning of the new class, and the correct lead-in can stimulate students’ interest and curiosity in learning and make students’ attention to the specific teaching tasks. Although lead-in takes a little time in a class, often only a few words or a few minutes, a good new lead-in can successfully make the students into a good learning state, fully mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of the students and create favorable conditions for the new class.

The lead-in of new lessons in English teaching is also called “ Introduction ”, it is the generic terms of all teaching activities during three to five minutes at the beginning of a classroom between teachers and students. Each section of interesting and effective English classroom is like a movie that leads a person to endless aftertastes, and effective lead-in is like a good prelude, this shows that the import is an important part of the class. Lead-in is a cooperative project between teachers and students, an effective lead-in can arouse students’ strong desire for knowledge, attract students’ attention and arouse their curiosity and motivation to learn new knowledge.
