高一英语写作错误研究

摘 要:写作,作为四项基本技能之一,在英语教学中扮演的角色日益重要。然而许多高中生害怕甚至厌倦英语写作,特别是高一学生。因此,本文旨在分析高一学生常犯的英语写作错误。文中作者简单介绍了英语写作的现状,具体分析了高一学生英语写作存在的问题,并采用调查和分析的方法,探讨了英语写作错误类型及其原因,最后重点介绍了提高英语写作的策略。作者希望通过此次研究,对高中生英语写作能力的提高起到一定的帮助作用。

Abstract:Writing, as one of the four basic skills, plays an increasingly important role in English teaching. However, a large number of students are afraid of English writing, even tired of it, especially for senior one students. Therefore, the paper aims to analyze the common errors of English writing made by senior one students. In this paper, the author roughly introduces the situation of English writing, analyzes the problems and importance of English writing of senior one students specifically, and using the methods of investigation and analysis, the author discusses the types of errors and causes of errors. At last, the author focuses on strategies of improving English writing. Through this study, the author hopes that it can play a certain role in helping improve senior high school students’ writing ability.

The Error Study of Senior One Students’ English Writing

I. Introduction

Teaching Syllabus for English Majors requires students to have the ability of English writing, to think clearly, especially no serious grammar errors. But in senior high school, compared to listening and grammar teaching, writing teaching is still poor as students are lack of enthusiasm. English writing, having a large proportion, is the indispensable part of Nation Matriculation Tests, which requires students to use appropriate, clear, and coherent sentences, the corresponding content to complete the writing about 100 words. This needs students have an ample knowledge of language and good expressions. But the fact is that both teachers and students spend rare time on writing compared to listening and grammar, causing the occurrence of errors in spelling, grammar, syntax etc. Therefore, for every English teacher in senior high school, it is essential and urgent about how to reduce errors of English writing and improve the level of English writing among students.

Senior one is not only a transition from the stage of junior high school to the stage of senior high school, but also a stage of laying a foundation for senior two and senior three. Owing to lacking of vocabulary, grammar and ample knowledge, they always make an error like this or that. So it is necessary to analyze the types and causes of errors so as to take the corresponding measures to make fewer or no error. Language learning can not always be going well without making any error. On the contrary, make an error, then correct it, and one will improve the ability of expressions. This means making errors is a part of the process of language learning, through which reflect the deficiency of the teaching and learning; On the other hand, errors show the continuous development of language learning. Therefore, based on improving students’ skills of English writing, the study use the theory of comparative analysis and error analysis and give a detailed description of each error, which hope it will be helpful for the future teaching and learning.
