论肢体语言在小学英语教学中的运用

Body Language Applied in Primary School English Teaching


摘  要:随着科学技术和新课改的发展和进步,人们也越来越看重英语。小学英语教学也越来越全面、完善。但是怎样才能上好一节英语课?大量研究实验表明,成功的课堂教学,除了教师教学能力和自身修养外,肢体语言在英语教学中的运用也是十分重要的。

怎样在小学英语教学中有效的运用肢体语言呢?首先要了什么是肢体语言。肢体语言在英语教学中十分重要。它激励学生学习,融洽师生关系,更直观地进行教学。虽然形象直观、易模仿运用的肢体语言能够帮助教师上好一堂英语课,但同时也需要自然协调、准确合理、恰当得体的使用。这样既能帮助学生们提高听、说、读、写能力,又激发他们学习英语的兴趣。但目前国内外肢体语言还有很大差异,所以现阶段肢体语言在小学英语教学中的使用还存在着使用不恰当,过于单一,不重视学生等问题。本文对此也提出了一些建议。如果想要让老师上好一节英语课,一定要合理恰当的在英语课堂中使用肢体语言。

Body Language Applied in Primary School English Teaching

Abstract:With the development and progress of science and technology and New Curriculum Reform, people are increasingly valuing English teaching. Primary school English teaching is becoming more and more comprehensive and perfect, but how to have a good English lesson? A lot of research experiments show that it’s very important for a successful classroom teaching to have teaching ability, self-cultivation and the use of body language.

How can we use body language in primary school English teaching effectively? We should know what the body language is first. It’s very important in English teaching. It can encourage students to learn, harmonize the relationships between teachers and students and make the teaching in an intuitive way. In addition, the body language which is easy to understand and imitate is more helpful for teachers to have an good English class. But at the same time, teachers need natural, accurate and reasonable use. Using body language not only helps students improve their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, but also stimulates the interest of students in learning English. But it has very big difference at home and abroad. At present, there are some problems of body language in primary school English teaching, such as using inappropriate, lacking of rich body language, ignoring students. Some suggestions were put forward for the above problems. If teachers want to have a good English lesson, teachers must use reasonable and proper body language in English class.

Chapter one  Introduction

1.1 Background

Famous limb linguist Fen. Lafle. Angles suggests that if there is no help with body language, the baby will not be able to learn and grow. Thus, body language is very necessary not only in English teaching, but also in our lives.

Teachers’ body language plays an important role in primary school English teaching. Grant Hennings (1971) argues that 82% of classroom teaching effect is achieved through teacher’s expression and behavior, and only 18% information is expressed through language.
