Second, in the works of Dickens, the relationship between men and women in love and marriage is not equal, and men are superior to women. Because of the differences of gender, men take up a leading position, and women should be affiliated (John Forster 3). In addition, men are more excellent than women in intelligence. Father and mother play different roles in the family. The main support of the family economy is the father and the center of family spirit and emotion is the mother.
