Abstract:Since beginning of the 21st century, economic globalization has become an irresistible trend. While economic globalization promotes the development of economy, it also means the fierce competition among countries. Therefore, the economic and trade relations between countries have not only become one of the hot issues of the governments' macroeconomic policy, but also the basis for the development of foreign trade development strategy. Saudi Arabia as a member of the GCC country has made a great contribution to the world economy development by its oil export. Saudi Arabia's economic and trade cooperation with China occupies the main position in the economic and trade cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China. The economic and trade cooperation between the two countries is faced with opportunities and challenges. In the future, the economic and trade cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China there will be an important strategy for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of economic and trade relations between Saudi Arabia and China, put forward that bilateral economic and trade cooperation should focus on the problems and suggestions of how to strengthen the bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
