ABSTRACT :Objective: To investigate the status quo of safety knowledge, attitudes and practices of college students cycling in  University, and analyze its related influencing factors. It provides an important reference for carrying out bicycle health education in college students. In order to improve the level of knowledge and attitudes of college students in cycling safety, improve their practices, and reduce the number of traffic accidents caused by their provision of guidance. Methods:Stratified randomized cluster sampling of college students in grade level. The self-designed  University-based college students' questionnaires on the safety of bicycle riding were used to survey the questionnaire, and 440 university students were surveyed. Descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, T-test, F-test and Pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. Results:1. The gender, grade, cycling proficiency, and frequency of car use at different levels of college students in  University have different effects on the cycling knowledge, riding attitude, and riding practices. The differences are statistically significant. There is no statistically significant difference in student's professionalism.2. The difference of riding practices of college students in different grades has statistical significance (F=2.66, P=0.032).The differences in scores of knowledge of riding skills among college students with different riding proficiency levels were statistically significant (t= 2.385, P=0.018), and the difference in riding practices of college students with different proficiency in cycling was statistically significant(t=-3.037, P=0.003). Conclusions:1.The gender, grade, proficiency in cycling, and frequency of bicycle used during the week at the  University make different effects on the corresponding entries in the cycling knowledge, attitudes and practices.2. There are significant differences in the three dimensions of safety knowledge, attitudes, and practices of bicycle riding among college students of different grades and different riding proficiency.3.There is a strong correlation between riding practices and riding knowledge among undergraduates, and a weak correlation with cycling attitudes. In order to improve the cycling practices of the students in the  University, the safety knowledge of bicycle riding should be strengthened.
