Abstract:Bob Dylan is not only an American rocker singer and singer-songwriter in the 1960s, but also a literatureian and poet. Based on the previous research, this thesis analyzes interactions between music and literature works of this artist while showing the particular characteristics of poetry and exploring the inextricably linked elements from the music and literature.

The study of some of Bob Dylan’s poems from the perspective of the interaction of literature and music leads to the conclusion that the elements of music and literature penetrate each other, blend with each other in the long history of art. This analytical study has been pided into five parts, namely the introduction; literature review; the interaction between music and literature and the rhetoric approaches to realizing the values, which respectively form the perspectives of implicit and inclusive metaphors, rich and blurred images and the profound and creative allusion. And finally the conclusion is presented with some typical examples to hammer the view that most of Dylan’s music and poems have been combined to interactively express abundant meanings and deep philosophy through the proper method of metaphors, images as well as allusions. Therefore the thesis holds that Bob Dylan’s poems as the typical samples of the interaction between music and literature are full of literary and musical values , and are very readable and deeply moving.

摘要:鲍勃•迪伦不仅是20世纪60年代的美国摇滚歌手、作词谱曲者，同时也是一位文学家和诗人。本文在先前研究的基础上，分析了这位艺术家文学与音乐作品的互动，同时揭示了诗歌的独特个性，探索了文学与音乐中不可分割的相关元素。

从音乐与文学交融的角度对鲍勃•迪伦的经典诗歌进行分析后，可以得出结论：音乐与文学的元素是相互渗透、相互融合的。这一分析分为五部分，即介绍、文献综述、音乐与文学的交融以及从包含而又包容的隐喻、丰富而多义的意象、深刻而富有新意的用典的角度来分别阐述实现的修辞方法。最后通过一些典型的例子来得出结论，即鲍勃•迪伦的大部分音乐和诗歌是交融的，都通过适当的隐喻、意象以及典故来表达丰富的含义及深层次的哲学。因此，本文认为鲍勃•迪伦的诗歌作为音乐与文学互动的典型样本，充满了音乐和文学价值，而且可读性强，令人深受感触。

1 Introduction

Bob Dylan is an American rocker and a folk singer in the 1960s. He is also a litterateur and poet. In his 40-year legendary career, he constantly changed and continuously improved his composing skills. In the 1970s, he began to believe in Christianity. Later he began to turn to folk literature and constantly instilled fresh blood in the creation of literature and songs. It is because of his passion for literature and excellent writing skills of songs that he has continuously improved the paradigm of American pop literature. To this day, he has influenced several generations of literary figures.

Later, he has become one of the most significant figures in the American cultural world. Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature by the Swedish School for his “creating a new poetic expression in the American song tradition” in October, 2016. For a time, "Literature and Poetry" and "Literature and Music" have become the most prevalent topic in the world, especially in literature field at the moment.
